Valle Maira is the home of hiking and offers some of the most beautiful hiking and trekking routes in the Cottian Alps. Around the Locanda Mistral you will find numerous walks - from easy ones to more demanding hikes and breathtaking high mountain tours.

More than 800 km of hiking and mule trails lead through once-cultivated fields and connect villages that are still preserved and rich in history.

Locanda Mistral offers a daily transfer service to the two most beautiful excursions in Valle Maira: Rocca Provenzale tour and the lake path (Senatore Frassati).

Mountain equipment rental: poles, helmets, climbing equipment, snowshoes, Arva probe and shovel, and Meindl hiking boots.

Strategic point on routes such as the Gta, Via Alpina and Percorsi Occitani (official stage base of the Percorsi Occitani since 2001).

Individual excursions with tailor-made offers: Via Normale Provenzale, Ferrata Oronaye, Ferrata Camoglieres, Brec de Chambeyron, Aguille de Chambeyron, Mon Viso.

Valle Maira is considered a true paradise for MTB and e-bike lovers. The extensive network of dirt roads, forest tracks and military roads at high altitudes allows you to cover long distances in the woods and between mountain pastures.
