Alquimio D’Oc

The rue liqueur Genepy belongs to the Valle Maira like no other drink. Stefano, one of the two founders of Alquimio D'Oc, regularly comes to the Locanda to tell us more about the origins and cultivation of Genepy.

Azienda Agricola Drocco

For many years, the guests of the Locanda have been able to enjoy the wines of the Drocco winery. First father Enrico supplied us, and for the last few years his sons have been supplying us with delicious wines from the Langhe near Alba.

Azienda Agricola Ghiomo

You can find wines from the Ghiomo winery in the Locanda Mistral. And of course, we don't miss the opportunity to regularly taste them together with the owner Giuseppino Anfossi.

Azienda Agricola La Freidio

La Freidio started its activity in 1997 with the cultivation of medicinal plants. Not only do we work with this small Valle Maira farm, but we also buy the local Genepy that you can find in our Locanda. What should be emphasized: Since 1997, one thing has NEVER changed at La Frieido - to this day only organic farming methods are used.

Caseificio del Sarvanot

The Sarvanot cheese of Silvia and Paolo is located in Stroppo at 1,400 m. In the Locanda Mistral, you can enjoy the local cheese and also regularly learn more during cheese tastings with Silvia.

Caseificio di Elva

The Toma d'Elva is not only a specialty of this small village in the upper Valle Maira, it is also an integral part of the dishes in our restaurant. The cheese from the Elva dairy gets its special taste from the unique processing. But above all - also because of the quality of the milk from happy cows that are fed with grass and hay from mountain pastures.

Diego Conterno

Diego Conterno is probably one of the most famous wine producers in Piedmont. In the Locanda, you will also find his special wines from the Proposta Vini catalogue, which he sometimes personally tastes with us.

La Mosterei

This local company from Dronero is all about the apple - based on permaculture and with the aim of preserving biodiversity and native varieties. These principles and values guarantee natural, tasty and high-quality products that we have been using at the Locanda Mistral for years.

Marchesi Alfieri

We not only share a love of the mountains (and the Valle Maira) with Mario Olivero, the enologist of the Marchesi Alfieri winery, but also of good wines. The elegant Barbera D'Asti Alfiera has been a fixed part of our menu for years. And we are also happy to visit this historic winery (since 1696) in person, because you can visit both the winery and the castle and learn more about the impressive history of the Alfieri.

Miele di Stefania

Using natural techniques and without the use of chemicals, Stefania produces different types of honey, depending on the season and flowering time. She shifts the hives throughout the season to produce different types of honey in optimal areas where the bees can roam freely and enjoy the best flowers. The result: our guests in the Locanda enjoy good, healthy and natural honey.

Devold

The Norwegian company Devold has stood for outdoor clothing made from the finest merino wool for more than 169 years - comfortable, natural and protective.

Kästle

Since January 2021, the Locanda Mistral has been the first official test center for Kästle products in Italy. Here you can get your Kästle skis, including skins and bindings, for testing.

L’Escursionista

The L'Escursionista publishing house has had an open ear for projects that affect the Valle Maira for years. Together we created maps for the valley, including a mountain bike map, and published the Valle Maira climbing guide in 2022.

Maxim Ropes & Chillaz

For several years, Maxim Seile and the clothing company Chillaz have been close partners of Panorama Diffusion and thus an outfitter of Renato Botte, mountain guide and partner of the Locanda Mistral.

Meindl

The Meindl test center has been located in the Locanda Mistral for years: guests and visitors can test and borrow new Meindl hiking boots from us.

Panorama Sports Diffusion
